🧊 Live Watermelon Carving for Summer Events

The Ice God may be known for crystal-clear ice sculptures, luges, and cocktail ice, but this summer, we’re keeping things fresh in a whole new way: live watermelon carvings and pre-carved fruit displays for corporate events, employee bashes, and summer parties.

“We’re an ice studio first, but seasonal creativity is part of how we stay sharp,” says founder Jake Saporito. “Summer heat calls for something refreshing, and watermelon gives us a new way to be creative.”

Crafted with the same artistry behind our signature ice sculptures, each carved watermelon takes approximately one hour and delivers a bold, visual impact for summer gatherings.

🍉 Master Carver: Angelito “Lito” Baban

The crown jewel of our summer offering is live carving by master sculptor Lito Baban, a gold medalist with over four decades of international carving experience. Lito began sculpting at just 8 years old and has since developed a remarkable ability to carve across a range of mediums including wood, fruit, cheese, and even chocolate! Most recently, he earned both 1st and 2nd place at the International Ice Festival in Alaska, proudly representing the Philippines, and his hometown, Paete, Laguna, renowned for producing world-class sculptors and artists.

“Watching Lito work is like watching a musician perform,” says marketing manager Malissa Romero. “There’s skill, focus, and an expectant crowd waiting for the reveal. It’s not just décor, it’s a show.”
